Meg Hamand, Author
After her entire family was killed by the Nazis, Rachael was just waiting to die - until she found a beautiful diamond ring in the mud inside the gates of Auschwitz.
The ring's beauty and mystery brings her back to life and introduces her to the last person she thought she'd find in the concentration camp -- a curious and energetic child. The story follows Rachael as she fights back for her life and unveils the story of the ring, its previous owners and how it ended up inside Auschwitz.
